Songs of Our Native Daughters - the first volume in a very special collaboration between Rhiannon Giddens, Amythyst Kiah, Leyla McCalla, and BOC’s Allison Russell is out now on Smithsonian Folkways Recordings. Luther Dickinson and Sisters of the Strawberry Moon - another love-in collaboration- between Luther Dickinson (who also co-produced our last Birds record “Love in Wartime” with JT), Amy Helm, Sharde Thomas, Amy Lavere, Como Mamas, Lillie Mae, and us lucky Birds - comes out March 22nd on New West Records.
